July 19 update

Falling Economy.
Rising Prices.
Federal Reserve running out of options.
Social Security have deadline.

We are sure hearing those things these days.  I have read already that it is similar to 1970's.  I wonder if my parents would remember how things were.  Yet, reading history shows that people certainly survive through Great Depression.  Surely, we would be no different.

I was planning to write this update email a week before I went to Florida.  But pending thunderstorm cause me to reconsider.  Well, when there is thunderstorm, I always get in mood for a good game.  But sadly, there is no one to play the game with me.  I suppose I could play solitaire, but I am in mood for a social life.  Play cards or anything.  I know how it was my sister always were in mood to read.  Ah, looking back it is obvious that my love language is quality time, if you read that book, Five Love Language, you would understand what I am talking about.

I recall that in my last updates, I forgot to mention that I got an upclose encounter with robin and her nest.  I watch the hatchings get out of nest in April.  Keystone Koating is renovating the place.  They started in January and now it is July.  They are not done yet, but they are hoping to change the line in September.  I got a new supervisor in April and he hoped that I would stick around until they are done are.

Oh dear, I don't know what to write about.

After the thunderstorm that Tuesday the Internet is down.  Leon talks about how I must be crying to be living without Internet.  I smiled and felt bit amused.  Apparently, Leon' don't allow room for gray areas.  Well maybe more than apparent, it is obvious.  Even if I am an Internet addict, it does not means I would go crazy if it is down.  There are libraries and other places where I can get access, even if it means it won't be as often.

That thunderstorm downed 15 phone poles and twist off tree branches.  VP went dormant.  I am thankful to have it all back last Friday evening while I went to ASL social.

That trip to Walt Disney was fabulous.  But it would be much more better if I had a girlfriend.  Fabulous fireworks is a good romantic moment.  I tell you I sure would like to go again next year if I have the money to do it.

What stood out about my experience at Walt Disney is when I put my nose in a book.  The book titled, Imagineering, was talking about Walt Disney and his dreams of theme parks and such in Florida.  But what jump out to me was the riddle.  "How many imagineers would it take to change a light bulb?  Imagineer would ask, "Does it have to be a light bulb?"  Perhaps that jump out to me while visiting the Magic Kingdom.  The classic castle called Cinderella's Castle was built on basis on that fairy tale, but it is there to "prove that dreams does come true."  The Main Street is a relic of small-town feel that long time ago have, such as during 1940's to 1950's.  Or maybe late 1800's as Walt Disney was born in 1889.

I stayed at Coronado Springs Resort.  I was surprised how cheap the hotel room is, if you divide up with your friends.  And what's so nice about Walt Disney is they do have exceptional service.  Interpreters at theme parks and then they give you a free ride from and to airport.  They can give you tickets to airline right at the resort.  They took care of your bags right at the resort.  It is really nice, and I felt so rich being there.  It is like having servants wait at your feet.

Plus, the landscape is exceptional.  The architecture is exceptional.  It is all so beautiful, but I noticed there are few people that looks like they had spat or whatever.  It is obvious that Walt Disney with all their dream-like atmosphere did not solve the real problems.  Especially if a child isn't taught not to be greedy, self-centered.

There isn't much new other than that.  I can't remember anything new.  I apologize if I am not really inspired to write a loooong update email, explaining to finest detail that women enjoy knowing.  Too bad, I can't think like women who like to think details.

I didn't go to any amusement parks that had deaf day in June, and I don't plan to attend one in August.  In fact, I am thinking of taking on the second job, but I didn't learn to fight for it yet.  My parents never taught me to be a fighter, to be a man.

I would have to learn it myself, somehow.
